The information on how much to tip in each country is quite detailed. The GUI is very straight forward and the app is also a very small size. Personally I really enjoy the colours and design used in the GUI. Great app! Must try :)

Its okay, but you put in the total bill amount, it calculates the tip on tax... If there was a seperate line for subtotal, tip calculation, then tax... I would like this app more. Glorified calculator, the advisor is alright, if you truly dont have a clue.

The bar part in Canada is so wrong you should tip on EVERY drink you order not just the first one! But if you tip really well on the first one you will get better service ( like In every country!) but if you tip only once bartender will know and will be not so good to you afterwards and the minimum is 1$ a drink not 1$ for 3 drinks and 4 shots!!!

If you are a globe trotter , then the details by country is worth the price of the app. Calculator is nicely laid out.

This is a very cool app, thank you. The statement for Canada is wrong though. If you tip well on the first drink you will get good service on the second but if you stop tipping you cant count on the service staying good. Standard tip is 1$ a drink when paying cash each round or 15/20% on a tab. Same goes for the US too.

App works amazing but wish there was an option to add the amount before tax and then tax so tip can be calculated appropriately.

I really like this app--it is spare, but still user-friendly and informational about the customary tips both in this country--and we Americans are woefully ignorant about how much to whom. I am also very gratified that the developer was honest about the cost--a very reasonable .99 cents--because I think most of us are getting a little fed up with this "in-app purchase" con. Two suggestions: while I think the other reviewer was way too harsh, I do agree that it could use more detail. Also, I feel that some of these tips are too conservative. Nowadays, the *standard* tip for a good server should be 20%; even higher in places like NYC. Looking forward to the Pro edition...keep up the good work!

You can downoad a lot of tips calculator applications, but only here you can find recomendation - How much exactly? Realy useful for me!

At last i have found tips application with recommendations for each country. And its free :) Thanks a lot!!! p.s. It would be nice if you add taxes in new version.

Unfortunately - this is a great idea, but not much substance. I expected to see the currency of the local country in the tip calculator - doesnt do much good if you are in Europe and it is giving you answers only in dollars!

Nice app, but needs local currencies to be truly useful. Please keep adding more suggestions for different categories.

Handy app

Only complaints are would be nice to get some info in local currency (%s and commentary are very helpful though) and provide source / backup for some of the commentary
